Deserving praise; You Say Email:letters@liverpoolecho.co.uk.I HAVE recently returned from Lourdes with the Liverpool Archdiocesan arch·di·o·cese n. The district under an archbishop's jurisdiction. arch di·oc Pilgrimage.
The whole event was remarkable in many ways, but I was particularly impressed by the attitude of the young people. There were some 500 between the ages of 15 and 25 - all from the area of the archdiocese arch·di·o·cese n. The district under an archbishop's jurisdiction. arch di·oc .
All had paid their own expenses and their contribution to the whole
experience was amazing a·maze v. a·mazed, a·maz·ing, a·maz·es v.tr. 1. To affect with great wonder; astonish. See Synonyms at surprise. 2. Obsolete To bewilder; perplex. v.intr. . All dressed in bright yellow T-shirts, they were everywhere - pushing wheelchairs, manning road crossings and routes and helping in every way possible. They were all so kind and helpful to the sick and elderly. They were also joined by the very talented and hard-working youth music group. Their music was splendid throughout the week - and they even whiled away the time during a flight delay at Lourdes airport by sitting on the floor and singing for over an hour. We hear so much today about badly behaved and violent young people who lack motivation; I think that these deserve recognition for their brilliant attitude. Well done all of you!
