In Jacob's first decisive action as new president, he has hired Fred A. Kiser as the Company's Vice President of Live Entertainment. Kiser, a native of Las Vegas, brings over 25 years of combined casino marketing experience to Desert Winds. He will be responsible for placing live entertainment into venues throughout the burgeoning casino industry. Stated Michael Paloma, "Kiser's rich relationships within the casino/entertainment industry will allow Desert Winds to more easily place its live entertainment shows on a national basis.
