Desert Winds Entertainment -- Now SunnComm Inc. -- Announces Securities and Exchange Commission Settlement.Business Editors PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 9, 2002 The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced on Monday Monday: see week. that it has concluded its investigation of Desert Winds Entertainment, known for the past two years as SunnComm SunnComm International Inc. is a company that markets the MediaMax software package, which sold as a form of copy protection for compact discs. MediaMax Technology [1] is the exclusive sales and marketing arm for SunnComm's MediaMax suite of products, and is "on Inc. (OTC OTC See: Over-the-counter. OTC See over-the-counter market (OTC). :SUNX). The consent and judgment was settled against the company and two former officers/stockholders of the corporation. All alleged infractions were settled through a consent decree A settlement of a lawsuit or criminal case in which a person or company agrees to take specific actions without admitting fault or guilt for the situation that led to the lawsuit. A consent decree is a settlement that is contained in a court order. . All alleged infractions occurred prior to SunnComm's current management joining the company and changing the company's name from Desert Winds Entertainment to SunnComm Inc.
