Desert Dunes Golf Club Acquired By Newport Beach-Based Real Estate Investment Firm Brooks Street; A Golf Digest Top-25 Rated Course Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

Desert Hot Springs, also known as DHS, is a city in Coachella Valley, Riverside County, California, United States. The population was 16,582 at the 2000 census.

The Desert Dunes Golf Club purchase comes less than a year after Brooks Street sold the 467 acres surrounding the course to Pulte Homes Pulte Homes, Inc (NYSE: PHM) is a Bloomfield Hills, MI based company founded by Bill Pulte. Pulte is the third largest (by units) builder of homes and residential community developers in the United States according to Builder Magazine's"Builder 100", and is the nation's  (www.pulte.com). Pulte Homes is now developing a 2,000-unit master planned Del Webb Delbert E. The development will include homes that hug the golf course, as well as commercial and recreational areas.

Brooks Street has retained Sunrise Golf Group (www.sunrisegolfgroup.com) to provide facility management services. President and owner of Sunrise Golf, Mark Tansey Mark Tansey (born 1949- in San Jose, California) is an American postmodern painter best known for monochromatic works which include commentary in their title, for example The Triumph of the New York School from 1984. , will personally oversee facility operations along with coordinating the many renovations planned for both the golf course and the clubhouse. "Mr. Tansey's unparalleled experience in the golf industry and track record for improving underperforming assets while delivering a top-notch golf experience is just part of the reason we selected Sunrise Golf," said Mr. Yelich.
