Desensification processing.

Bodycote now offers an addition to its line of heat treatments with Densal process, a proprietary hot isostatic pressing Hot isostatic pressing (HIP) is a manufacturing process used to reduce the porosity of metals and influence the density of many ceramic materials. This improves the mechanical properties , workability and ceramic density.  (HIP) process in which the HIP parameters and the equipment have been modified mod·i·fy

Using an integrated HIP and solution heat treat process offers property improvements that are good or better than property improvements normally observed when a casting is subjected to conventional, discrete A component or device that is separate and distinct and treated as a singular unit.  HIP and T6 heat treatment. Experiment results show that a commercial process, which combines HIP and solution heat treatment, can decrease processing time, reduce energy consumption, improve process efficiency and cost-effectively optimize optimize - optimisation  mechanical properties in aluminum castings.--Bodycote
