The Descartes Systems Group Inc., (Nasdaq:DSGX), (TSX:DSG), a trusted provider of logistics solutions, today announced the strengthening of the Company's management through the fulfillment of two key roles. Assuming the position of senior vice president (SVP) of Products and Technology is Bruce Gordon while Evros Psiloyenis joins the Company as Descartes' senior vice president of Infrastructure and Support.

As SVP, Products and Technology, Bruce Gordon will play a critical role in ensuring Descartes builds quality products that are both differentiated and aligned with market opportunities.

Gordon brings over 20 years of experience in the high tech industry and 12 years of dedicated experience in the retail sector where he held roles ranging from the management of distribution and logistics departments through to branch manager. Prior to joining Descartes, Gordon held General Manager positions with Oracle and Dun and Bradstreet leading teams in Australia and New Zealand.

Previously Evros held a number of senior management positions with companies and international consultancies in Europe, Asia and The Americas. He brings a wealth of experience to Descartes having worked with such leading organizations as KPMG, International Paint, Burmah Castrol, iDirect and Softvision Group. In the early days of pen-based computing, he pioneered applications for logistics and trucking for Royal Dutch Shell, Pepsico and Philip Morris.
