Des Kelly (born 1965) is a British journalist.
 

AS they say on all the Saturday night news bulletins: "If you don't want to know the result, look away now".

This one's not pleasant. I merely pass it on because a few hundred thousand residents of London were left with a rather unpleasant image when they were confronted by an interview with Glenn Hoddle Glenn Hoddle (born October 27, 1957 in Hayes, London) is a football manager and former player for Tottenham Hotspur and England. He has had spells as manager of Swindon Town, Chelsea, England, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and most recently Wolverhampton Wanderers.  yesterday.

The headline across two pages of the local paper said: "When the chairman came on the phone it was all over in 30 seconds".

An unfortunate turn of phrase, unless he meant to call the Spurs chairman names?
