There may be a minute or two of downtime while one system switches over to another, but processing will continue. and disaster recovery solutions, announced on Wednesday (16 August) that Derwent Shared Services, a provider of shared services to UK Primary Care Trusts and Health Authorities, has implemented Neverfail for Exchange to protect its e-mail systems against downtime. Derwent Shared Services is said to support over 100 organisations in the UK and up to 7,000 National Health Service employees rely on the e-mail services provided by its Information Management and IT department. According to the company, Neverfail for Exchange guarantees that all users remain connected to their e-mail by providing an automatic switch-over to a secondary server.
