Derrick's the man for Gatehouse role; STAFFORD.

IT took three attempts but Stafford Gatehouse Theatre has found a new artistic programme manager.

Derrick Gask, who was seconded to the position in May, will now take up the post left vacant by Stephen Freeman on a permanent basis.

Adam Hill, head of leisure for Stafford Borough Council, which funds the theatre, said: "It requires an extremely competent individual who is dedicated and capable to fulfil the role.

"We have advertised the post three times and it has taken us up until now to find an individual who meets the criteria."
