packs, in addition to the original launch packaging of a bottle of 50 tablets. Esprit's 190-person sales and managed care organization are actively calling on physician offices and retail pharmacies nationwide.

"We are pleased to be able to offer physicians and pharmacies packaging options that will address the type and volume of prescriptions they are managing," said John Spitznagel, chairman and chief executive officer of Esprit. "For the high volume ProQuin XR users, the 50-count bottle remains available. The recent launch of the 3-tablet blister pack will provide a convenient alternative for patients when physicians prescribe three tablets, one per day, for the treatment of uUTI infections."

John W. Fara, Ph.D., chairman, president and chief executive officer of Depomed, added, "I am pleased from a manufacturing perspective that we were able to respond quickly to the request from the marketplace for variations in ProQuin XR packaging. We believe the new ProQuin XR 3-tablet blister pack will help Esprit further penetrate the urology, women's health and key primary care physician markets."

In July 2005, Depomed and Esprit entered into a commercialization agreement for ProQuin XR. Esprit launched ProQuin XR in the U.S. urology market in the fourth quarter 2005, and has subsequently launched the product into other attractive physician markets including women's health and key primary care markets. Depomed retains manufacturing rights and Esprit is responsible for sales, marketing and distribution.
