Rear Adm. (lower half)(selectee se·lect·ee n. One who is selected, especially for military service. ) Thomas J. Eccles is being assigned as deputy commander for undersea warfare, SEA-07, Naval Sea Systems Command The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is the largest of the U.S. Navy's five "systems commands," or materiel organizations. NAVSEA consists of four shipyards, eight "warfare centers" (two undersea and six surface), four major shipbuilding locations and the NAVSEA headquarters, , Washington, D.C. Eccles is currently serving as major program manager for Seawolf, Program Executive Office Submarines, Washington, D.C.
Rear Adm. (lower half) (selectee) John Elnitsky II is being assigned as commander, Naval Undersea Warfare Center The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) is the United States Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, and offensive and defensive weapons systems associated with , Washington, D.C. Elnitsky is currently serving as major program manager for undersea mobility, PM 399, Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C.
