The four-man team succeeded in out-witting and out-maneuvering the rival Canadian Canadian (kənā`dēən), river, 906 mi (1,458 km) long, rising in NE New Mexico. and flowing E across N Texas and central Oklahoma into the Arkansas River in E Oklahoma.  teams.

Bigfoot Safari creator, Michael Ruge said "I was very pleased with this event. We had a great turnout, everybody had a fantastic time and everybody got important practical skills too." While the next Bigfoot Safari has not yet been scheduled, Ruge says, "Watch the website (www.bigfootsafari.com) -- as soon as the date of the next event is set, we'll have it on our site."
