During this period the Company has also completed 21 acquisitions and centralized its warehousing and distribution operations in both North America and Europe.

Before joining DENTSPLY, he served as President of Johnson & Johnson's Vistakon division, a leading manufacturer of disposable contact lenses. Under Mr. Kunkle's leadership, the Vistakon division received many prestigious corporate awards from Johnson & Johnson for outstanding quality, employee satisfaction, and overall best practices among J&J's numerous divisions.

Prior to that, he was President of Johnson & Johnson Orthopaedics, Inc., a manufacturer of orthopaedic implants, fracture management products, and trauma devices.
