A DENTIST accused of groping women patients claims feeling their breasts was medical treatment.

Dr Mark Anderson, 48, says he was helping women suffering from a joint disorder that causes head and neck pain.

But a judge ruled he shouldn't have been anywhere outside his patients' mouths - and suspended his licence to practise.

One alleged victim told police in Yolo County, California, he held her breasts and whispered with a "quivering voice... it was very creepy."

Prosecutors want to upgrade his charges from misdemeanours to felonies.
