 carotid artery atheromas on panoramic radiographs, investigators at the University of California, Los Angeles UCLA comprises the College of Letters and Science (the primary undergraduate college), seven professional schools, and five professional Health Science schools. Since 2001, UCLA has enrolled over 33,000 total students, and that number is steadily rising.  report. Dr. Arthur H. Friedlander, of the School of Dentistry and Dr. Lisa Altman of the School of Medicine assessed radiographs of 52 post menopausal women who were neurologically symptomatic. Calcified carotid artery disease identified in 16 women was confirmed in all cases by anteroposterior anteroposterior /an·tero·pos·te·ri·or/ (-pos-ter´e-er) directed from the front toward the back.
