Dennis W. Archer Launches The Diversity Network; Predicts Double Digit Economic Growth Through Diversity for Michigan and American Business.


DETROIT -- Where is the next economic boom coming from? Former Detroit Mayor and Chairman of the Detroit-based law firm Dickinson Wright Dennis W. Archer today unveiled some important answers as he introduced his new venture: The Diversity Network. Its focus is to help corporations become more competitive and develop new markets through diversity. Its services include diversity consulting, minority supplier development and recruiting. Archer will serve as Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of the new firm.

"The Diversity Network is solely focused on creating a bridge between American businesses and the wealth of talent that exists in our multicultural work force," said Mr. Archer. "Our goal is to help corporations build a more inclusive culture and improve competitiveness."

The conference included comments from Louis Green, President of the Michigan Minority Business Development Council and Tammy Carnrike, Executive Vice President of the Detroit Regional Chamber.

Mr. Archer is the former 2-term Mayor of Detroit, former President of the American Bar Association American Bar Association (ABA), voluntary organization of lawyers admitted to the bar of any state. Founded (1878) largely through the efforts of the Connecticut Bar Association, it is devoted to improving the administration of justice, seeking uniformity of law  and Chairman of Dickinson Wright law firm.
