Denel and Turbomeca. (News).


Denel and Turbomeca have signed an agreement finalising the creation of the new company, Turbomeca Africa, which will manufacture certain components for and provide maintenance of helicopter engines and industrial turbines. This agreement gives Turbomeca's French parent, SNECMA, a 51 per cent majority share of the company, with Denel retaining the remaining 49 per cent. Turbomeca Africa will manufacture certain engine components for Turbomeca, General Electric, Rolls-Royce and Volvo.
