This newest release is built on Microsoft .NET, providing the flexibility for improved integration within the pharmaceutical enterprise environment. This newest release boasts significant functionality enhancements to its platform that was recently re-architected to enable intuitive user navigation and the flexibility to better integrate with existing system infrastructure. The release of Sample Guardian(TM) 4.1 reflects Dendrite's strategy to expand its presence in the growing compliance solutions market.

Developed to meet the needs of the pharmaceutical industry, Sample Guardian allows analysts and managers in the home office to keep detailed records and track all sample information conveniently through one system; it also enables the pharmaceutical company to notify the FDA (Federal Drug Administration) of drug diversions and theft and to keep accurate inventory of prescription drugs, as well as their distribution and storage requirements.

Sample Guardian's new enhancements include:

--Sample Signature Auditing - Home office users can view signatures captured from multiple sources and sample requests on one page. Signature verification audits can be initiated and tracked and verified for both random and for-cause audits.

--Mail-Fulfilled Transactions - The system stores all practitioner sample transactions in one validated location and provides the ability to track both direct and mail-fulfilled transactions from request to shipment to practitioner acknowledgement.

--List Builder - Enables users to build specific search criteria and select data in order to perform analysis. The List Builder functionality can export information regarding transactions, employees, inventories and inspections from Sample Guardian for distribution via email or to other user applications for further research.

--Adjustment Transaction Management - Allows the home office user to review all adjustments made by a sales representative and verifies them before including them in the inventory calculations that are critical to the reconciliation process.
