Dendrite Redefines Executive Structure To Position Company For Future Growth.

Dendrite International, Inc., the leading provider of sales and marketing effectiveness solutions for the pharmaceutical industry (NASDAQ/NMS: DRTE), announced today at its Annual Investor Conference in New York, NY expanded roles for existing executives at the company and added several new positions to be filled this year.

Chairman and CEO John Bailye comments, "The executive team is being expanded and redefined due to growth in the business in expectation of very significant new business activities."

Teresa Winslow, presently VP for Dendrite's US business, is being promoted to Senior Vice President and President of the Americas Group. In this expanded role, Ms. Winslow will continue to have responsibility for Dendrite's North America existing client group and will be adding Latin America business group, SalesPlus, Analytika and the new data initiatives, once launched in the second quarter of 2001.

Mark Cieplik is being promoted to Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Mr. Cieplik will be responsible for acquisition of all new business worldwide in addition to all global marketing functions.

In the marketing function, Michael Floyd has been appointed as Vice President of Global Marketing reporting to Mark Cieplik. This is a newly created position for the company. Prior to this appoint, Mr. Floyd spent 14 years in the pharmaceutical industry and was most recently Executive Director of the Northeast Customer Center for AstraZeneca.

Christopher French will become Senior Vice President, Innovations Division. Mr. French was formally General Counsel for Dendrite International, Inc. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing Dendrite's new product strategy and bolstering the strategic position of the company through alliances and acquisitions.

Dendrite is also pleased to announce that Page Stiger has been added to the executive team at Dendrite as Vice-President of Human Resources. Mr. Stiger will be responsible for all Human Resources worldwide, including compensation and benefit programs, employee relations, staffing and management development. Mr. Stiger joins Dendrite after 12 years as Senior Vice President, Director of Human Resources at the fast growing Summit Bancorp, NJ.

Dendrite is pleased to announce that Christine Pellizzari has been promoted to Vice-President, General Counsel and Secretary of Dendrite International. Ms. Pellizzari replaces Christopher French. Ms. Pellizzari joined Dendrite two years ago as Associate Counsel after spending several years in private practice.

A new Chief Financial Officer will be hired and will report to George Robson who will continue his role as Executive Vice President. Mr. Robson will also be responsible for starting a new consulting division within Dendrite as well as working with John Bailye on developing and implementing corporate strategy.

In light of the projected new growth of Dendrite over the next two years, the Company also announced many new management positions. New positions to be filled by the fourth quarter 2001 are:

- Chief Operations Officer

- Chief Financial Officer

- Chief Technology Officer

- Vice President, US

- Vice President, International

- Vice President, US New Sales

- Vice President, Professional Consulting Services Group

- Vice President, Global Accounts

- Six Vice Presidents of Global Account Sales.
