Dendrite International and Allscripts Announce Agreement to Offer Global E-detailing Solutions to Medical Professionals.

Dendrite International, Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:DRTE) and Allscripts, Inc., (NASDAQ: MDRX) today announced an agreement that will enable the two companies to globally market the e-Detailingtm product pioneered by Allscripts.

The Allscripts e-Detailing product, which was recently launched in the United States and is already in trial by several large U.S. pharmaceutical companies, uses the power of the web to provide professional detailing information to doctors on demand. Dendrite will also market e-Detailing internationally.

The agreement between Dendrite and AllScripts allows for the integration of this product into pharmaceutical manufacturers overall sales and marketing programs, using Dendrite's analytical services through their medical information destination portal, MD-Connect.com. This service will allow doctors to receive the e-Detail with individually selected content.

Using the integrated analytical services of Analytica, Dendrite and Allscripts will offer the American pharmaceutical industry the ability to identify specific geographies and target customers for e-Detailing exposure. Using Dendrite's customer records, content that is specific to each doctor can be selected. This will ensure e-Detailing content is based on known doctor prescribing practices, which will be integrated with traditional selling approaches. Analytica's capabilities will also provide Return On Investment (ROI) analysis by geography and doctor for the introduction of e-Detailing.

The companies will jointly market the product in the United States. Dendrite has the exclusive license to market e-Detailing internationally. It is Dendrite's intention to launch the product in Europe and be capable of deployment on a multi-regional basis for its global pharmaceutical manufacturing customers before the end of the year.

Using sponsored destination portals known as MD-Connect.comtm, Dendrite is launching integrated ePharma capabilities to its clients, where each customer driven activity will be integrated within each doctor's individual database to greatly expand the personalization of the marketing to individual medical practitioners.
