Dendrite International, Inc. (Nasdaq/NMS: DRTE DRTE Defence Research Telecommunications Establishment ) announced the addition of seven executives, including three former IMS Health IMS Health (NYSE: RX) is an international consulting and data services company that supplies the pharmaceutical industry with sales data and consulting services. This marks the second announcement in which Walsh/IMS Health ST executives have joined Dendrite as part of the Sales Force Effectiveness provider's strategy and commitment to strengthen and broaden Dendrite's positioning worldwide. In July of this year, Dendrite announced Nigel Whitehead's appointment to Dendrite Vice President of Global Accounts after 15 years with Walsh (part of IMS Health ST).

In the newly created role of Dendrite Senior Vice President of the International Group, Stephen Webb, formerly Walsh's Vice President of Europe, will be directly responsible for developing commercial strategies for key accounts in Europe, Japan, Australia/New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

As Vice President of Europe at Walsh, Webb was responsible for the operations and profitability of twelve countries and a team of approximately 450 employees supplying MIS, Technology and Services specifically focused on major multinational companies. Webb's move to Walsh came after seventeen years at American Cyanamid American Cyanamid was a large, diversified, American chemical manufacturer. Lederle Laboratories, maker of Centrum and Stresstabs vitamins, was Cyanamid's pharmaceutical division. Davis & Geck was the company's medical device division.  as General Manager and Director for the Medical Device and Hospital Pharmaceutical Business in various senior marketing positions.

After 20 years in several executive positions with Astra, Chris Thomas joins Dendrite to become Vice President of the following global accounts: Astra/Zeneca, Novartis, and Roche.

As Dendrite's Vice President of Global Accounts, Simon Wicks will oversee Dendrite global relationships with Glaxo Wellcome, SmithKline Beecham and Pharmacia &Upjohn. Wicks' professional history includes business development positions with Glaxo Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd and Wyeth Laboratories Ltd.

Gareth D. Thomas comes to Dendrite from his position as Pharmaceutical Business Manager at Integrated Sales Systems UK Ltd, where he was responsible for creating new business throughout Europe. Previous to his employment with ISS ISS

In his most recent position at IMS Health ST, Davis served as Director of Business Development, developing new business as well as growing and maintaining the Canadian client base.
