-Dendrite International, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRTE) today announced that one of its largest clients and one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies has extended and broadened its long-standing relationship with Dendrite by signing a comprehensive, multi-year services contract.

These services complement the company's current deployment of Dendrite's WebForce(TM) sales channel management suite, which this company has successfully utilized to drive sales force productivity on a national basis for a number of years.

The agreement marks the single largest contract ever awarded to Dendrite, reinforces Dendrite's strategic partnership with this client, and further enhances Dendrite's position as the leading provider of sales and marketing business process outsourcing services to the global pharmaceutical industry.

Dendrite collaborated with the client to construct a unique, flexible contract to accommodate its evolving, and significantly expanded, business requirements, while simultaneously meeting its needs for predictable costs and simplification of administrative processes. The contract also incorporates support of all field-critical applications to optimize sales effectiveness, with opportunities to enhance services as business needs change.

Through a dedicated team, Dendrite provides the following mission critical field force support services: Professional Technical Services (technology strategy, application development and implementation, third party application integration, data integration, and project management), Sales Representative Help Center Support and Training Services, Information Management Services, and Hardware Services (repair, inventory management, and image management for laptop and PDA devices).
