(NASDAQ/NMS:DRTE), today announced that its UK subsidiary has signed a three year service contract with SmithKline Beecham (SB) to provide implementation, training and ongoing services for SmithKline's Global Clinical Trials Remote Data Entry initiative.

SmithKline Beecham continues to strengthen its commitment to Clinical Trial Remote Data Entry (RDE) development and implementation processes. They have put into place a worldwide agreement with Dendrite, who is acknowledged as one of the market leaders in the service and support of Remote Data Entry software, to support the faster acquisition and processing of clinical trial information. This agreement enables SmithKline Beecham to concentrate its efforts on developing scaleable software that fully integrates with existing clinical trial management systems as well as to focus on the medical aspects of trial deployment.
