SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 16, 2000

Dendreon Corporation (Nasdaq:DNDN) today announced the initial public offering of 4,500,000 shares of common stock at $10.00 per share.

Prudential Vector Healthcare Group, a unit of Prudential Securities, acted as lead manager and SG Cowen Securities Corporation and Pacific Growth Equities, Inc. acted as co-managers. The Company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to 675,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.
