Demonizing gays.Why is Arthur Finkelstein not being confronted by every gay organization in the country ["A Roy Cohn for Our Time?" May 24]? Why have the national gay activist groups in this country not gone ballistic over the assault on gay rights that Finkelstein has advised and consulted on? He is truly the devil incarnate in·car·nate adj. 1. a. Invested with bodily nature and form: an incarnate spirit. b. Embodied in human form; personified: a villain who is evil incarnate. . He sits in Massachusetts with his newly married partner, two adopted children, and the life many gay couples across the country want to have where they live, but yet he demonizes and obstructs any support for gay rights in many states. The hypocrisy is so unbelievable. What can we do to confront all this antigay legislation being passed by the narrow, judgmental judg·men·tal adj. 1. Of, relating to, or dependent on judgment: a judgmental error. 2. Inclined to make judgments, especially moral or personal ones: Right? Our rights as citizens of this free society are about to evaporate.
