IN your editorial of August 3, you stated that "unpatriotic activities like demonstrating against British troops will not be tolerated."

I can't actually think of any examples where there have been demonstrations against British troops.

But I can think of plenty of examples where there have been demonstrations against the Iraq war Iraq War: see under Persian Gulf Wars.

You're surely not suggesting that the millions of people in this country - including former soldiers and their families - who opposed that particular war are somehow "against British troops", are you?
