Demandware Appoints Ruth Habbe as Vice President of Marketing; With Extensive Software as a Service Background, Habbe Brings More Than 25 Years of Marketing and Sales Experience to Leading On-Demand Ecommerce Company.


WOBURN, Mass. -- Demandware, Inc., a leader in on-demand ecommerce solutions, today announced the appointment of Ruth Habbe to the role of vice president of marketing. Habbe brings more than 25 years of high-level marketing and sales expertise to the Demandware team, including extensive experience leading an organization that successfully delivers software as a service to Fortune 500 Companies. As vice president of marketing for Demandware, Habbe will work closely with the executive team to build upon the company's momentum in helping multi-channel retailers.

Prior to joining Demandware, Habbe served as President at MediaMap, Inc., a leading application service provider delivering a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) An integrated information system that is used to plan, schedule and control the presales and postsales activities in an organization.  Communications Management Communications management is the systematic planning, implementing, monitoring, and revision of all the channels of communication within an organization, and between organizations; it also includes the organization and dissemination of new communication directives connected with an  application for Fortune 500 communications organizations and the public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment.
