Demand launches Newport residential tower ahead of schedule.


With the growing demand for quality housing on the Jersey City, NJ waterfront, the Lefrak Organization is accepting $300 applications from renters wishing to reserve an apartment in the Southampton, the company's newest residential tower at its highly successful Newport community.

Still under construction, the 409-unit Southampton is the fourth and final residential building of the Towers of America complex within the 600-acre multi-use development.

 Richard LeFrak, the company's president, "The rapid pace of construction and rental activity reflects the continued successful leasing of Newport's residential buildings. The East Hampton East Hampton or its variants is the name of several places in the United States:

The Southampton consists of one- and two-bedroom apartments, with rentals ranging from $1,400 to $1,760 for one-bedroom apartments and $2,150 to $2,535 a month for two-bedroom units with two full bath.

Like the other three Towers of America buildings, the Southampton offers panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline and New York Harbor New York Harbor, a geographic term, refers collectively to the rivers, bays, and tidal estuaries near the mouth of the Hudson River in the vicinity of New York City. The first group of rental towers at Newport were four structures comprising Presidential Plaza. A fifth residential building The James Monroe - is a condominium tower with more than 95 percent of its 445 units having been sold and the balance rented.

The second group of residential buildings, the Towers of America, is comprised of the Riverside, Atlantic and the East Hampton. These buildings are occupied and were rented in record-breaking time. The Southampton is part of this complex.
