Demand for interim managers.


Demand for interim managers is at its highest since 2001, according to new research. Engineering and manufacturing are the leading sectors to use interim managers, followed by the civil service and banking.

"Contrary to the common view that interim work is related to crisis management, the highest uptake at the moment is from firms involved in relocations or new ventures," said Charles Russam, chairman of Russam GMS, which conducted the survey.
