Deluxe opens third facility in Brooklyn.

Storage Deluxe, the leading owner, developer and manager of self-storage facilities in New York, announced that it will open opening the doors to its latest facility this month at 945 Atlantic Avenue, at the corner of Grand Avenue, in Brooklyn.

This marks the 14th Storage Deluxe building in the New York region and the third facility to open in Brooklyn.

This new downtown Brooklyn location is a converted, state of the art construction of 50,000s/f with over 900 self-storage units. Brooklyn's tow other Storage Deluxe facilities are at 2887 Atlantic Avenue (opened in 2004) and 2990 Cropsey Avenue (opened in January 2006).

Scheduled to open later this year include three more Brooklyn facilities--2049 Pitkin Avenue, 464 Stanley Avenue, and 1220 Broadway, four facilities in the Bronx, two in Queens, two in Westchester, and one in Connecticut, bringing the company total to 26 self-storage facilities with nearly three million square feet of prime New York real estate, offering over 37,000 self-storage units.

This results in a rapid proliferation of Storage Deluxe employees, square footage, and self-storage units just within this past year, with growth predicted to double revenue figures by 2007.

Acquiring a team of highly skilled seasoned professionals, Storage Deluxe appears to have cemented a winning formula for new site acquisition, construction and consumer marketing. Unlike many competitors Storage Deluxe has chosen to focus on a niche target market, predominantly located in the highly populated urban areas of Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Westchester, building long term community relationships and setting a goal of creating customers for life.
