Delta and Pine Land Company.Delta and Pine Land Company, Scott, Miss., has established a series of actions to enhance the company's ability to execute its long-term growth plans and improve performance and profitability. Some changes include: Steve Hawkins, formerly president and COO, has resigned to pursue other business interests; Murray Robinson, vice chairman and chief executive officer of Delta and Pine Land Company, will be assuming the additional position of president; Tom Jagodinski, senior vice president and CFO, will assume responsibility for corporate services in addition to his current responsibilities; Randy Dismuke, senior vice president, has assumed responsibility for all domestic operations; John Stewart, vice president, international, continues in his role as director of international operations. Additional changes at the corporate level will occur as part of the realignment, including the elimination of at least two corporate vice president positions. Delta and Pine Land also announced several actions to reduce expenses and increase efficiencies, including the closure of its Chandler, Ariz. delinting facility in August. |
