Delmar learning acquires titles from career publishing.

Delmar Learning (Albany, NY), a unit of Thomson Corp. (Toronto, ON), has acquired the Allied Health book product line from Career Publishing (Orange, CA). No terms were given.

The purchase includes such titles as "Sports Medicine sports medicine, branch of medicine concerned with physical fitness and with the treatment and prevention of injuries and other disorders related to sports. Knee, leg, back, and shoulder injuries; stiffness and pain in joints; tendinitis; "tennis elbow"; and  Essentials," "Introduction to Clinical Allied Healthcare," as well as related introductory titles on allied health professions, including clinical lab assistant/phlebotomist, psychiatric psy·chi·at·ric
