Dell (Nasdaq:DELL) today announced completion of price reductions of up to 34 percent on select PowerEdge servers, 15 percent on Dimension(R) desktop PCs and 12 percent on Inspiron(R) notebooks for small businesses in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. .

Today's small business price reductions coincide with the completion of across-the-board price cuts of 14 percent to 47 percent on Dell's entire line of award-winning Adj. 1. award-winning - having received awards; "this award-winning bridge spans a distance of five miles"  PowerEdge(tm) servers. With today's discounts, PowerEdge server prices for small business begin at $1,199, Dimension desktop PCs at $599 and Inspiron notebooks at $1,099. Dell is the No. 1 computer systems vendor to U.S. small and medium businesses(a).
