Dell Projectors Light up Rooms at Breakthrough Prices; New 2400MP and 1200MP Projectors Deliver Up to 40 Percent Savings Compared to Competitor Models.

XGA-2 later added non-interlaced 1,024x768x64K.  (1024x768) resolution projector and the only product in its class priced less than $1,100(a). It features a 3,000 ANSI lumens (max)(b) brightness rating and a 2,100:1 contrast ratio that enables distinct black colors. The 2400MP features Texas Instrument's new color-processing technology, BrilliantColor(TM), which generates sharp text and accurate color reproduction even in well-lit rooms. The projector also combines DarkChip3(TM) DLP (Digital Light Processing) A data projection technology from TI that produces clear, readable images on screens in lit rooms. DLP is used in all types of projection devices, from data projectors that weigh only a few pounds to large rear-projection TVs to electronic  (R) Technology, BrilliantColor(TM) and high brightness to produce crisp images from a compact device weighing only 5.5 pounds.

Ideal for presentations in small to mid-sized rooms, the Dell 1200MP is a bright, fully featured SVGA (Super VGA) A screen resolution of 800x600 pixels. Third-party vendors extended IBM's VGA display standard and were the first to use the term. SVGA has also referred to 1,024x768 resolutions. The 1200MP weighs less than five pounds and has a high contrast ratio of 2,100:1.

The 2400MP and 1200MP deliver great value that goes beyond just price with included features such as a drop-tested carrying case, full featured remote control and extensive connectivity including PC support, S-video, composite video A video color format that combines all three YUV video signals into one channel. The first video signal to include color, composite video transmits brightness/luma (Y) and colors/chroma (U and V) over one cable.
