Dell Launches LCD TV Models That Mean Business; Two High-Definition Offerings Mark Entry Into Hospitality, Other Commercial Segments.

Connections on both TVs allow "control-by-wire," a feature that eliminates the need for a remote control for each display in a multi-unit deployment because they are controlled from a single point. Remote controls and speakers are optional so customers need not pay extra for features they may not require.

User-customizable settings, such as maximum volume control, allow customers to control features that make sense for specific environments. LodgeNet(TM), OnCommand(R) and other hospitality video-on-demand offerings are also supported through a connector on the TVs.

Service and Support

Dell also announced installation services for business customers ranging from basic setup to wall mounting with concealed wiring(a) The TVs come with a standard one-year Advanced Exchange warranty that is upgradeable to five years(b). CompleteCare(TM) service is also available and encompasses accidental damage including drops and liquid spills(c).
