Dell Incorporates Fastest Intel Processors Across All Computer Product Lines; Mobile Pentium III Debuts in Dell's Fast-Growing Notebook Line.

Intel's new Pentium III The successor to the Pentium II from Intel. Introduced in the spring of 1999 at 500 MHz, the Pentium III architecture was similar to the Pentium II with the addition of 70 new instructions optimized for multimedia (see SSE).  processors, based on the 0.18 micron process manufacturing The manufacturing industry that uses process control systems. Corporate Notebooks

The Dell Latitude Dell's Latitude laptop brand is specifically targeted at the business market which means that standardized parts are used throughout the line and are available for several years for support purposes, as opposed to the Dell Inspiron which is aimed at the consumer market and whose  CPx H500GT corporate notebook, offers the new Intel mobile Pentium See Pentium M.  III 500MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  processor and the new Dell DualPoint design that integrates two pointing devices: a touch pad and a track stick. The Inspiron 3700 and Inspiron 7500 notebook PCs now both offer Intel Pentium III mobile processors at 450 MHz and 500 MHz speeds. With prices starting at $1,999, the Inspiron 3700 features the DualPoint design and a variety of interchangeable peripheral modules. The Inspiron 7500 provides users with desktop-like performance and expandability in a convenient notebook package with prices starting at $2,099. Servers

The Dell PowerEdge 2400 server expands the price/performance and availability boundaries of Dell workgroup servers by offering one or two new Intel Pentium III processors in either 533 MHz, 600 MHz, 667 MHz, all with 133 MHz front-side bus (FSB (FrontSide Bus) See system bus.

Dell Precision WorkStation 410 and Precision WorkStation 210 are available with 650 MHz and 700 MHz Pentium III processors in single and dual-processor configurations. Corporate Desktops

The OptiPlex GX110 desktop for corporate and institutional customers features multiple speeds of the new Pentium III processors, including 533 MHz, 600 MHz, 667MHz and 733MHz processors, all with 256 KB integrated level 2 cache See L2 cache.
