Dell (Nasdaq:DELL) today announced the second installment of its back-to-school sweepstakes, the "Trip-a-Day Giveaway." Customers who purchase home desktop or notebook computers A laptop computer that weighs in a range from five to seven pounds. The term originated when laptops were routinely more than 10 pounds, and those that became lighter were placed in a special "notebook" category. In practice, notebook computer and laptop computer are synonymous.  through August 29 (per Sweepstakes Official Rules) will automatically be entered in the national sweepstakes(a) with daily grand prizes of $50,000 in travel and cash. The August daily sweepstakes follows a similar giveaway in July, when 30 Dell customers won $50,000 each.

"Customers loved the first phase of our back-to-school sweepstakes and we think the trip prizes will be equally as popular," said Erin Nelson, director of acquisition marketing for Dell's U.S. Consumer Business. "Who wouldn't want a fully paid summer vacation Summer vacation (also called summer holidays or summer break) is a vacation in the summertime between school years in which students are off for 3 months, depending on the country and district.  and have extra spending money along the way? Twenty-nine lucky winners will receive $30,000 in travel and another $20,000 in cash in drawings through August.
