Dell'Oro Reports McDATA Market Share Growth; McDATA Gains Market Share in Director and Fixed Fabric Switches.

), a leading provider of data infrastructure solutions, today announced it gained director and fabric switch market share in the first calendar quarter 2005 as reported by the Dell'Oro Group's "1Q05 Quarterly SAN Report." The study verified that McDATA gained share both sequentially and year-over-year in the fabric switch market, and gained share quarter-over-quarter in the director market.

McDATA's total Fibre Channel market share increased to just over 27 percent.
