Dell (Nasdaq:DELL) and Samsung Electronics Samsung Electronics (SEC, Hangul:삼성전자; KSE: 005930, KSE: 005935, LSE: SMSN, LSE: SMSD) is a South Korean multinational corporation and the world's largest and leading electronics and information technology company.  Co. Terms of the $16 billion dollar global agreement call for Samsung to ensure supply of memory components, liquid-crystal displays (LCD), monitors and optical disk drives to Dell for use in the manufacture of its line of computer system products.

The companies also have agreed to collaborate on research and development efforts focused on providing Dell customers with world-class products at competitive prices.
