RoadRelay is marketed through Cadec Systems Inc., a Cummins Information Systems company. RoadRelay will connect with HighwayMaster's cellular system, giving truck drivers the ability to communicate critical and timely engine data in real-time. RoadRelay reads, records, and relays real-time trip data, diagnostic information and instantaneous fuel economy to drivers through an in-cab display. An interface jointly developed by Cadec of Londonderry, N.H., and HighwayMaster of Dallas, delivers real-time data Real-time data denotes information that is delivered immediately after collection. The successful test of the system over the past few months involved 20 Rollins DCS trucks. Evaluation is now under way for possible roll-out of the system for the additional portions of the Rollins dedicated-carriage fleet.
