Byline: Louise Davies

THE Princes Trust Business Programme in Merseyside has provided funding and support to help two friends launch a Mediterraneaninspired business.

Yilmaz Sinekli, 25,and Guzel Sari, 23, have set up Deniz,a Mediterranean Supermarket on Smithdown Road in Liverpool.

The two young entrepreneurs, both Turkish, identified a niche in the market and recognised the local demand for Mediterranean produce amongst the ethnic community and the increase in demand from English people Noun 1. English people - the people of England
