Delight as springer spaniel Mac wins his place at university.

A SUPER pooch from Anglesey has won his place at university after a year of intensive training.

Springer spaniel springer spaniel: see English springer spaniel; Welsh springer spaniel.  Mac, who can fetch the post, answer the phone, and even load the washing machine, was not allowed to join his owner Charlotte MacPherson, 23, at Swansea Metropolitan University last autumn.

It made life difficult for owner Charlotte, who suffers from an agonising joint condition as she undertook the first year of her Fine Art degree, as Mac offers her a much-needed helping hand with daily chores.

But after further training as a support dog he will start his uni Uni (`nē), fl. c.2325 B.C., Egyptian official of the VI dynasty. His career is known through his private inscription.  career after the summer break.

Charlotte, from Llanfaethlu, said: "I am looking forward to having him at my side next year.

"I accepted why he wasn't able to come in as he wasn't ready but it made my life more difficult.

"It is just the little things really that other people take for granted, just like dropping a book on the floor, having him there means he can fetch it for me.

"I have got through and now I can't wait to have him at uni after the summer.

"He will be introduced gradually and with the full cooperation of the university."

She didn't think it would be possible to attend university until Mac came into her life.
