Delight as Dragons celebrate title win.

LOCKWOOD Park Dragons third team are champions! While they had to settle for a 3-3 draw in their final game against Wakefield, it didn't prevent them capping a great season by celebrating the title in Division VIB VIB Vibration

Dragons began to play some excellent hockey up front, and it was not long before they fired back with two goals from Kaya Bath to take the lead.

And after a strong run down the right from Becky Haigh, her cross was met by Isabel Dutton, who finished off the move by finding the back of the net to put her side 3-1 ahead.

Amanda McCallum produced a string of blocks to deny Wakefield, but the defence were unable to prevent the visitors netting twice late on to force the draw.

 was voted player-of-the-match for her support both in defence and attack.

The success of the Dragons' third team adds to that of Huddersfield Hockey Club's first team, who were crowned Yorkshire Premier Division champions and who will play in the North League next season..
