Mexicali is the capital. , Mexico. Following initial prospecting and mapping, each project returned significant gold and copper values from extensive reconnaissance sampling. Delgratia plans to spend US$1,000,000 during 1996 to define drill targets on the numerous prospects already identified on each property as Stage II of its exploration program. EL BARRIL (9,884 acres - 4,000 hectares) is located 120 km south of Bahia de Los Angeles on the Gulf of Mexico Noun 1. It contains three significant gold bearing vein outcrops, all of which feature underground workings within an intrusive granodioritic batholith batholith, enormous mass of intrusive igneous rock, that is, rock made of once-molten material that has solidified below the earth's surface (see rock). Batholiths usually are granitic (see granite) in composition, have steeply inclined walls, have no visible floors, . The vein was traced over 300 metres at surface. A larger offset vein was sampled and found to contain identical vein-like material 300 meters south of the main showing extending strike length to over 650 meters. Reconnaissance geologic sampling has shown values as high as 0.57 oz/t gold and 3.1 percent copper. Other areas on the property were selectively sampled and ran as high as 0.89 oz/t gold and 4.7 percent copper. COLUMBIA (10,625 acres - 4,300 hectares) located near Punta Prieta, in central northern Baja, California, appears to encompass most of a 10 km north-south geological belt consisting of schistose schist n. Any of various medium-grained to coarse-grained metamorphic rocks composed of laminated, often flaky parallel layers of chiefly micaceous minerals. metasediments and metavolcanics intercalated in·ter·ca·lat·ed adj. Inserted between two others; interposed. in·ter  ca·late with acidic intrusives. A small mine was active as evidenced by white quartz waste piles. Sampling from the waste pile has returned 0.54 oz/t gold, 2.7 oz/t silver and copper values up to 0.4 percent. LEON III (10,300 acres - 4,170 hectares) is immediately adjacent to Columbia. This concession encloses the remainder of the 10 km long belt. Reconnaissance sampling has returned values up to 0.5 oz/t gold and 0.4 percent copper. EL TORITO (24,463 acres - 9,900 hectares) is located 40 km north of Bahia de Los Angeles. The showing area consists of sulphidic gossanous mica-shist adjacent to an intrusive. Some iron rich horizons can be visibly followed. Samples taken from the main showing have shown anomalous gold values up to 0.1 oz/t gold and significant copper values, several exceeding 2 percent, as well as zinc. SAN JUAN (9,044 acres - 3,660 hectares) is located 10 km southwest of Bahia de Los Angeles. It surrounds the San Juan mine where production was reported in the late 1800's. Significant gold, silver, lead and zinc values were recorded, with one particular sample grading 0.8 oz/t gold, 19 oz/t silver and 15 percent lead. EX-JET (71,165 acres - 28,800 hectares) is adjacent to the north of the San Juan property. This extensive concession surrounds the San Borja Mine and is accessible by dirt road. Numerous anomalous gold values were found on the property and reconnaissance samples returned values up to 0.87 oz/t gold.
