Delano Technology Corporation (NASDAQ:DTEC), a leading provider of interaction-based e-business solutions for the enterprise, today announced the appointment of former Lotus executive James Wentzell as Vice President, Worldwide Marketing.

In his role, Mr. Wentzell will be responsible for driving Delano's global strategy for branding, media and analyst relations, lead generation, special events, and marketing communications.

As a Senior Director at Lotus, Wentzell was responsible for all areas of marketing, public relations and communications, and was instrumental in increasing Lotus brand awareness. He has also held senior positions with other technology-related companies, including AT&T.

Mr. Wentzell joins an executive team with over 100 years of combined management experience with high technology companies such as i2 Technologies, Netscape Corporation, GartnerGroup, Bain & Company, and Oracle.
