With its 59-cent Breakfast Burrito leading the charge, Del Taco Del Taco is a chain of North American fast-food restaurants specializing in Mexican-style offerings as well as American foods such as burgers, fries and shakes.

The first Del Taco restaurant was founded in Yermo, California in 1961 by Ed Hackbarth and David Jameson.

The new campaign uses a three-prong approach in which Del Taco first plans to get the attention of customers with everyday priced 59-cent Breakfast Burritos. Second, Del Taco introduces breakfast meals complete with new Hashbrown sticks and multiple beverage offerings.

"Strategically, we expect 59-cent Breakfast Burritos to do for our breakfast what 49-cent Tacos have done for our lunch and dinner," said Tim Hackbardt, vice president of marketing for the 415-unit quick- service Mexican Mexican

Whether customers choose coffee, orange juice or a 20-ounce soda the meals remain the same price. Breakfast meals will range in price from $2.99 to $4.29.
