Shaw's Supermarket and Star Market have teamed up with Del Monte to create the Del Monte Summer Spectacular- a program designed to increase the sales of Del Monte Small Serve (TM) canned fruits and vegetables (7.75 - 8.75 oz.) during the summer months. The company hopes to raise the summertime sales of these products by informing consumers that canned fruits and vegetables are not only nutritionally beneficial but are also easy and convenient to prepare for meals and snacks.
