) announced today that Tim Cole has joined the company as Executive Vice President, Sales, reporting to Richard G. Wolford, Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Del Monte Foods.

Tim was with The Quaker Oats Company, now a unit of PepsiCo, Inc. for 25 years, in a series of assignments with increasing responsibility. Recently, he was Vice President of National Accounts for the U.S., directing $3 billion in U.S. sales of all Quaker Brands including Gatorade.

He has significant experience leading a large sales organization and growing business with key national retail accounts.
