Dekolink Wireless Announces Dual-Band 700/800 MHz Digital Multi-Channel RF Signal Booster for Public Safety Networks.

Dekolink is announcing a future-proof dual-band 700/800 MHz digital multi-channel signal booster to address existing and future dual-band spectrum allocations. Dekolink Wireless' advanced signal booster provides public safety networks with the Dekolink patented Digital Signal Processing (DSP) filtering that is designed to solve complex coverage problems.

LAS VEGAS -- Dekolink Wireless, Inc. today announced its new Deko4078SD, aimed at providing an efficient enhanced coverage solution to public safety users with both 700 and 800 MHz LMR spectrum. The solution addresses the critical need for public safety radio systems to have robust and highly reliable coverage solutions that are future proof and will mitigate interference.

The Deko4078SD features an array of up to 24 DSP-based, software-controlled, variable bandwidth filters that are user programmable across the 700 MHz and 800 MHz bands. "Many 800 MHz public safety networks are adding 700 MHz spectrum today or plan to in the future. By selecting Dekolink's high-power, digital multi-channel signal booster today, the networks will be future proof and easily upgraded to work across both bands when new spectrum is being added," Monro continues. The DSP filtering also provides unique control over each filter shape versus time delay, so that both adjacent channel interference and simulcast time delay can be minimized. This unique algorithm enables the use of the Deko4078SD in applications where no other booster solution will work.

The Deko4078SD offers industry-leading performance characteristics including the patent-pending, intelligent, self-optimizing SmartALC algorithm, which ensures not only simple initial setup for any channel but also protection from oscillations and seamless integration with the public safety network. In addition, the Deko4078SD features a per-channel Automatic Gain Control (AGC) that selectively squelches nearby, high-level mobiles' signals so as to maintain stable coverage even for the furthest portables.

The Deko4078SD is field or remote tunable and capable of meeting each phase of the 800 MHz rebanding process. It provides +40 dBm composite RF output power with 90 dB gain and is optimized for indoor coverage of large building as well as significant outdoor coverage.
