Dejima, Inc., (www.dejima.com), a developer of mobile access solutions, today announced a two-level relationship with Motient Corporation (OTCBB OTCBB

product. The arrangement between the companies includes an end-user license agreement and a partnership allowing Motient to use Dejima Direct to mobilize applications for its customers.

"As a company providing mobility solutions to corporate enterprises, we are excited about the power of Dejima Direct SFA to broaden adoption of wireless services," said Mike Fabbri, senior vice president of sales at Motient. "Dejima Direct SFA increases the productivity for our entire sales force and our executive team, by providing a fast and intuitive way to access customer information. The return on investment the solution brought to our company is available to our customers and prospects through our channel relationship."

Motient has been using the Dejima Direct SFA product to easily and quickly connect its sales team to the Salesforce.com database using RIM 850 and 857 Wireless Handheld(TM) devices. Dejima Direct SFA allows the sales team to use their wireless handhelds and Dejima's patented direct access technology to simply send an email to salesforce@dejimadirect.com with requests for actions or reports, e.g. "Show all opportunities targeted to close this quarter." Dejima Direct then interprets user requests for information and retrieves data, delivering it back to the user via email in a matter of seconds. Once the end-user receives a response, he/she can then act: ask for more detailed information, forward relevant data to peers and managers, or even follow up with clients to close a deal.

Sales reps away from the office can also easily update opportunities in salesforce.com, ensuring accurate forecasts, by simply sending new information such as, "Acme (company, jargon) ACME - /ak'mee/ 1. A Company that Makes Everything. The canonical imaginary business. Possibly also derived from the word "acme" meaning "highest point".

Warren Wilson, the practice director of Summit Strategies' Mobile and Wireless Business Solutions group, remarked, "Dejima's technology helps deliver on the mobile and wireless promise by simplifying access to data without the use of complex commands or query languages A generalized language that allows a user to select records from a database. It uses a command language, menu-driven method or a query by example (QBE) format for expressing the matching condition. . Its deal with Motient is a triple win: Dejima gains distribution power, Motient enhances and differentiates its offerings, and customers will appreciate that Motient is using the solution internally, not merely reselling it."
